Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
All Good Folks Ltd · Last updated 10 June 2026
The short version. Our apps are built to respect your privacy. We have no accounts, no sign-ups and no analytics, and we run no servers that receive your data. We collect nothing about you and keep no history of what you do in our apps. Almost everything happens entirely on your own device.
This policy applies to all software published by All Good Folks Ltd ("we", "us") on the App Store and elsewhere.
What we collect
Nothing. None of our apps create an account or ask you to sign in. We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, we do not operate servers that receive your content, and we do not build a profile of you. Your files, screenshots, clipboard, recordings and settings stay on your device unless a feature you choose sends them somewhere, as described below.
Features that send data when you ask
Some of our apps include optional features that send specific content to a third party, and only at the moment you trigger them. In every case the data goes directly from your device to that third party; we never see or receive it, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.
AI features. If an app offers an "ask AI" or AI-assisted feature, the content you choose (such as a region of your screen or some text) is sent to the AI provider you select, for example Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or OpenAI, using an API key that you supply and that is stored only on your device.
On-device intelligence. Where possible, features like text recognition and translation are performed on your device by Apple's built-in systems, with nothing sent anywhere.
Cloud upload and sharing. If an app lets you upload or share a file (such as a screen recording), it goes to the cloud account you connect, for example your own Dropbox, via that service's secure sign-in. The file is stored in your account, not ours.
iCloud sync. If an app syncs settings across your devices, it does so through your private iCloud account. That data lives in your iCloud and is not visible to us.
Web and image search. If an app offers a web search or reverse-image-search action, it opens a search, or uploads the image you selected to a search engine such as Google, at your request, to show you the results.
Purchases
Some apps offer an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock extra features. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Permissions
Where an app asks for a system permission, it is only to perform the feature you asked for, for example Screen Recording to capture a region you select, the microphone or camera for an optional recording feature, or access to a folder you choose. We do not use these permissions for background collection.
Third-party services
When you use a feature that sends data to a third party, that company's own privacy policy governs how they handle it:
Google (Gemini, Images, Search): policies.google.com/privacy
Anthropic (Claude): anthropic.com/legal/privacy
Dropbox: dropbox.com/privacy
Apple (iCloud, App Store): apple.com/legal/privacy
Children
Our apps are not directed at children and collect no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
